The provincial ATA’s 365 Days Ago… campaign reflects on last year’s teachers’ strike and government-mandated return to work. Throughout October, the campaign will share teachers’ reflections and messages from Albertans about the value of teachers and public education.

Members who wish to participate can:

  • Use the campaign profile image on social media from October 6–27.

  • Share daily campaign posts from provincial ATA accounts.

  • Donate to a local food bank in appreciation of the support teachers received from their communities.

  • Wear black on October 27 as a symbol of solidarity.

The campaign will conclude on October 27 with a provincial ATA video marking the anniversary of the government’s return-to-work legislation.
