New Teacher Conference

The New Teachers Conference takes place October 2–3 at the Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel. It is open to teachers living south of Red Deer who are in their first two years of classroom teaching or are new to teaching in Alberta. Reach out to the local treasurer to arrange reimbursement.

The Alberta Teachers’ Association acknowledges Treaty 4, 6, 7, 8 and 10 territories within Alberta. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for generations. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us.
