More information
Canada’s Invisible Children is a short documentary about children in Alberta who have been denied access to school because of their families’ precarious immigration status.
Through the experiences of affected young people and their families, the film examines the personal and community consequences of being excluded from public education. It asks viewers to consider the importance of education, safety and belonging for every child, regardless of their parents’ immigration status.
The documentary was produced as part of the Education for All campaign led by AWARE—the Alberta Workers Association for Research and Education.
