More information

Welcome to the 2026–27 school year—and to the newly redesigned Holy Spirit Catholic Local 5 website!

The new site was created to make it easier for members to find the information and support they need. It is organized around the questions teachers ask most often: What is happening? Where is the form I need? What does my agreement say? How do I access professional development funding? Who should I contact?

You can now find upcoming meetings, social events and important deadlines in one place; quickly access Local forms and documents; review professional development funding opportunities; find information about scholarships and member programs; and connect with your school representative, Local executive or the appropriate ATA contact.

The site is also designed to work well on phones, tablets and computers, so Local 5 information is accessible wherever you need it. Events and updates will be added throughout the year, with additional details available through the More Info links.

We hope the new website helps you stay informed, connected and supported. Please explore the site, bookmark the pages you use most often and contact us if you have questions or suggestions.

The Alberta Teachers’ Association acknowledges Treaty 4, 6, 7, 8 and 10 territories within Alberta. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for generations. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us. We recognize the land as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.
